A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Looking for the insect ID, not the clover.
That's what I thought when I noticed them out the window. I tried letting more of the nearby plants get a full year of growth and I've noticed a lot of flowers my family planted but hadn't been seen in a while.
Did some research and looked at the plant again. Most flowers have 4 stamen which makes me think it's C. hirsuta. However, a couple had 5 and a few had 6. Not sure if I've got both present near one another or maybe hirsuta mutation. Ideas?
Precisely. I know some of the flora and fauna around me, but the biodiversity if so high where I live I encounter something new to me almost every day. Rather post here for an expert to identify and use the data point than just remain in ignorance while going through my day.
Thanks, always like to learn a bit more!
Sorry, connection problem. I'd like to grow edibles, the habitat is very moist and I have a stream accessible. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Really, those are edible? How can I tell for sure?
