It looks like a juniper plant. But I could be mistaken
I have known this as the seven spotted lady bug or beetle
I saw one if these last summer and was lucky enough to watch it form a chrysalis and turn into a butterfly. I would agree that it is a morning cloak caterpillar. Cool pictures.
I'm guessing but it is some kind of orchid. It is a beautiful flower.
They look very similar but I can't find one that has the white stripes on the side. Any other suggestions.

I think it is the first instar of some type of shield bug
I found one just like it in northern Saskatchewan. I'm very curious what it is.
