Fantastic, thanks. All the skipper info I have suggested no white skirting on the wings but thanks to your input I have confirmed your suggestion as correct. Nice one and thanks

You know this little guy offered itself up for a photo as we walked by. I just caught him out of the corner of my eye. There we were with about 3 metres between ourselves, one of us wondering how the hell to lift the camera up, change the ISO and shutter speed and take a photo whereas the other was looking for a quick exit. A lovely moment which made me smile.

Thanks Maria I'm glad to be aboard, if you'll parden the pun.

I'm amazed myself, they flock on a local airstrip, there are numerous standing signs on boundary indicating one thing or another for the pilots. Needless to say they seem to like the fact there is shelter found by these signs. Luckily for me the boundary is right next to the road. I've marked the spot to the inch on the map so you'll see what I mean.

And thanks Patty I love them too! :D

Oh and Antonio thanks for the encouragement :)

I've come online via my PC for the first time as I always use the phone app. Using the phone app doesn't make the mission range very obvious, I had no idea about it so I'm just about to look into it, thanks.

Thanks all. I do love the great outdoors and I'm really interested in ID & mapping flora and fauna, thanks to 6th form Biology field trips of the 80's.

Thanks I'm more in agreement with your ID than my own LOL. Cheers for that, hopefully grab some more shots this weekend.

Yeah I so forgot you cannot zoom in on them. Well not on my phone anyhow. Pictures were from distance and lacked real resolution anyhow.*Note to self. Must buy new lenses* :-)
