Buddleja davidii is the name of the bush. It's also called Butterfly bush, Summer Lilac

The Elk population at RMNP has exploded and the park service has put fencing around vegation that they want to keep elk out. The Elk will go down into Loveland CO from RMNP and back. The elk move all over the park. I think they just want a map of the movements of Elk to keep a better track of them.

The U.S Fish and Wildlife tagged and put a radio collar on it to track is movements thru RMNP

You can see the tongue at the end of the bottom part of the beak. it's pale.
