I found the creature under a rock, in the rock pools of Normanby Island, Cairns Great Barrier Reef
I have been having trouble with the Map, we were actually at Upolu Reef and it was only about 4-6m deep. It was a great discovery and since seeing one I have spotted the clam/sponge relationship again and again.
Spaghetti Coral is widespread throughout the Indian and Pacific Oceans because it has floating larvae.

wonderwall is the name of a snorkel site on the Great Barrier Reef outside of Cairns and Ocean Freedom is the boat that goes there.
