How do the caterpillars look like, do you have a photo?

Saw one yesterday in St. Katherine, Wadi Genab.
At least I thing it's the same, was very "salmon colored".... ;)

Are you sure, Ori? I never saw these (with the long seed pods) with only red flowers, they are always yellow/orange with red only in the middle.

At least this exemplar should be called 'Starfish Purslane'! :)

The (Gebelaya) Bedouin are taking the little black seeds and ground them up, that I understood for sure. He didn't mention doing anything with the leaves.
I forgot the name he had for it, will ask again!
