It was banded with rings of PRBO in 2005 in Ceuta, Sinaloa. There is a big colony about 100 pairs nesting in a abandoned salt pound. I marked and followed the birds all the breeding season. Nowdays biologist from Germany and Mexico have been marked all the birds from 5 years seasons.

I captured the hummingbird with misnet, and i gave it some apple juice when it flew.

Hola Patyy, tenemos varias colonias de bobos patas azules en México, la colonia principal se ubica en la Isla San Pedro Martir en el Golfo de california, de ahi le sigue la colonia de la Isla Isabel, y después tenemos unas colonias pequeñas dentro del mismo Golfo de California. Ademas anidan el bobo de patas cafes. Saludos y gracias por los comentarios.
