Either bluegill, green sunfish, or pumpkin seed I'm not sure which they are all very similar

Unfortunately 2 hours after we released this bird in the morning it passed away, we kept it overnight to protect it from predators and a large storm. Nature decided he wasn't suppose to make it...

He is sitting in a bucket because we attempted to relocate him and his siblings because they were eating the neighbors crops but we couldn't catch them all so we released him by his home

It was in a small pine/ yew tree about 6 feet off the ground
