It's not. I have a photo of it's green wings. I can upload it later.
Its nest is in the rafters of my porch, and it fell out. I got the ladder out and put it back after I took the picture. I checked in later, all is well.
Have you ever read The Pilgrim at Tinker Creek? Reading it now, and she talks about these. It's cool to see your pic while reading the book :)
Aren't they invasive there? Did your divemaster kill it?
I have no idea, I just googled "seed bell" though and there seem to be some out there for sale. :)
My first thought was botulism, I think the rehabber is giving it antibiotics tonight, I took video of the behavior so she could see what it was doing.
