A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Nature lover in Montreal. I just love to be out looking for mother nature's artwork. Trying to master macro photography.

Sign In to followHi Brian38. Based on a "Project Noah Related spottings" there is a mating pair of these moth that are identified as Horama oedippus. They look like a perfect match. I found this reliable site that pretty much confirms the ID. http://v3.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxb...
What do you think?
Thank you Brian38 for the ID. You may want to read the note I added above about the possibility of a subspecies.
Thank you Brian38 for your help with this ID. I have over 150 moths that I photographed on a recent trip to Mexico. Do you know of a site that would help me to identify them?
Thank you for this honor. It is always a thrill.
They are difficult to photograph Muckpuk. I spent hours around the tree and hundreds of shots to get a few good ones.
Funny name indeed! Both the fruit and the hummingbird are delightful!
Thanks Jellis for the ID.
Absolutely spectacular shots Carol. What great timing.
