These used to grow all over my house when growing up in PA. It's a type of raspberry. When they ripened it was my favorite time of year. They are great to eat off the bush or collect and ad to cereal ice cream or make into jam.
Some sort of weevil or true bug.
This is a first year Little Blue Heron. For the first year of the little blue's life they are white. This is so they can blend in with snowy and great egrets for some added protection from predators. This is why we kept seeing this guy close to those two Great Egrets.
