This baby snake (Vípera cornuta, or horned viper) is extremley dangerous. I founded it during a geological mission in Mauritania, sleeping early in a fresh morning, exposed to the sun in a relatively humid gully crossing a cliff, south of the Mauritanian Desert ( Coordinates: 18º 18,75'N ; 10º 52,8'W, elev.:540m)
