Thanks so much triggsturner. They are such beautiful big spiders and we did find them on a bush shaded creek bed :) . It's great to finally know what they are.
Shana I know! I walked around the garden in winter removing the hopper eggs where I could find them, and here I am in summer using it as a model and letting it live to mature and lay more eggs!
Gilma I agree, sometimes we need to look at pests in a different way.
Yuko I love the tail too :D
Cindy I will do.
Yes that certainly sounds like our spider ForestDragon.
Thank you so much for your suggestion. And I agree they are stunning! Thanks for sharing your spotting :D.
Thanks Jill. I wondered why the colours were darker than the ones I found on image search :). Have added it to the mission.
Thanks for your kind words. I have joined the group, it is a great idea :D
Wow he's gorgeous!
LOL Karen, I love the way mantids pose :D
Thank you! I love how if you get up really close to something tiny, instead of looking creepy they look soft and almost cuddly. Viv yay for Project Noah!
Thank you oxyjack and harsuame :)
