reminds me of a giant crab spider, but I don't believe they live in NYC. Probably a wolf spider or Nursery web spider of some kind.

harlequin nymphs are similar, but lack the yellow shoulders, have a yellow spot right behind the head, and have two yellow stripes down the abdomen.

The one that is curled up is a millipede, probably in the order Julida.

It is a Harvestman. It is like a spider, but it is not one. The red thing on its leg is a mite.

Maybe a mantis nymph instead. Look at the front legs: like a mantis held in tight.
And the back legs are not big, as the jumping legs in a katydid. The eyes also are like mantis eyes. It is a little short, but I think very, very young mantis of some kind.
