also check out scarlet oak (Q. coccinea), looks very similar esp. on rocky or poor sites

probably a Mallow, notice the cluster of stamens in the center. check out spp of mallow family (Malvaceae) in your area

disk flowers are not right for white daisy (Chyrsanthemum). those plants have disk flowers that form a distinct yellow "button". It looks like a common annual garden flower from Mexico usually called Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus). Notice how each of the disk flowers is tall and spreading out. leaves are narrow and divided (not thick and leathery like Chrysanthemum)

may be a red maple (Acer rubrum) . check to see if it has three main lobes on the leaves and if it is whitish on the bottom
