Black-headed Trogon (Trogon melanocephalus)
Beautiful bird, I believe that they are a good omen. After I run into them, good things happen. They are often silent and observant. They are the daytime observers (at night they leave it to owls). In Nicaragua, local people call them viudas (widows). Same family as the Quetzal.
