Are you saying I'm lying about where I took the photo or that this is not a checkered garter snake?
Yeah, we're taking pretty drastic measures to get rid of them at my workplace and make sure nobody takes them home. Everybody gets a free inspection too, and I'm really hoping they don't find any in my house!

It's not scientifically proven, but the fluid from the stem/root is commonly used to treat rashes from poison ivy and stinging nettles.
