The rehab is the Carbon County Environmental Education Center - CCEEC - Summit Hill, PA (2 miles outside Jim Thorpe) It is open to the public M-F 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM . Unreleasable raptors are on display for educational purposes-rehab/hospital area is not public (these animals can often be released and don't need the stress of being around a lot of humans). Educational Birds include: Bald Eagle (F), Golden Eagle, RT Hawks, Vultures, Owls, etc. Out door cages can be viewed during off hours-Saturday and Sunday. Also trails can be used on Off Days.
