We don't have a documented case of a Western Diamondback in CO. I'm betting this was a Prairie Rattlesnake.
Hard to tell without a closer photo, but it looks pretty big, so I'm thinking Black Rat Snake.
I agree with Ashley, it's a juvenile common five-lined skink.

If I had to guess, I'd say juvenile black racer.

From the color, I'd say yellow rat snake.
