Hi Shanna. Well there is a census on to estimate their population and very soon their status level may go to endangered. They are only found in New Zealand and even there only at high altitudes in the alpine regions. They are quite rare to spot in the wild.

Well I actually think its a fox moth... I thought it was the tiger but it doesn't have any black marks on it. :D I could be wrong too.
