A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
A biology major in college. Became a builder. Built my own house. The garden in many of my pics is 40 years old.

I think you're right about it being a cyclosa web. Here's an interesting theory about it. https://www.businessinsider.com/spider-c...
Quite the large egg sac. To carry it and the leaf is quite impressive.
I'm changing the species from Monobia quadridens to Euodynerus bidens.
I'm thinking it's the ghost spider from my previous spotting. Same folded leaf from the same species of plant and nearby. I'll have to look for more of these egg sacks
Those shots were taken at night from the inside. Moth was on the outside of a window. The blue is a reflection from our TV. The white in the third pic is the reflection of our ceiling. No photographic skill here I just take a lot of shots trying to get my iphone to focus.
Also called Jasmine mold, scrambled egg slime and flowers of tan. It turns from yellow to tan as it ages.
I tend to to stick with the first common name I learn for an organism.
What a beauty though.
This is a species that has become invasive in some parts of the world. The State of Florida claims to have eradicated it in South Florida. Time will tell.https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/terrestrial/invertebrates/giant-african-snail. Some friends brought me a shell from a trip they took to Africa.
