A black-throated green warbler perhaps? They have black throats (not visible here), a yellow faces, framed by an olive green crown, the wings are black/dark gray(?) with white stripes. Females and young species has less or almost no black on their throat.
Nice. It's larva finished a third of my basil supply. :)
The larvae of the oriental beetle seems to have longer legs, and they aren't orange like this one on the picture. Japanese beetle larvae are smaller. This was closer to 1.5-2 inches in full length. So it to my best guess, it is a green june beetle larva. Thank you. :)
