Thank you very much.

I am interested to know about Paadhiri (Stereospermum chelonoides)
and other species of Stereospermum.
Is there any place you know where they have complete knowledge on Paadhiri (There are different kinds:Poopaadhiri,Venpapaadhiri,Sempaadhiri etc.,)

Interested to know about fragrant Paadhiri:
I know from mother the flowers are fragrant and the extract from flower is dried and applied to forehead like kumkum which was Sthala tree in Vallakottai.

My search continues....

Koppalan gotai fruit had similiar smell and size as that of Syzygium jambos.
I could not able to take photo of the leaf or tree as it was in a good height.

You have to visit Kolli hills of eastern ghats near (Salem of Tamil nadu).
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolli_Hill...). This tourist spot is untouched and it has 70 hair pin bends.I started crying within 20 hair pin bends. Its a very steep mountain.

You can find very new species in kolli hills.May be you can set a mission to explore.
