wildsweld Norther Cardinal - male

Thanks Sandy! Yes, they are bit on the shy side. The ones I have in the backyard have finally gotten used to me and they know I am the hand that feeds them peanuts so they hang around. This Cardinal however was taken at Cherry Hill where they are not quite as shy due to the amount of human traffic and food coming through.

Jemma - Actually, what I have been doing, and I'm not a twitter or tweeter or whatever it is, I just did a search on Hamilton Birding (near my area) and I found a twitter group for that. They give up to date info on bird sightings and you can even put it out there that you are looking for an owl. You don't need to create an account if you only want to see they're sightings, only if you wan to post.
