I've kept in captivity a couple times...longest I kept adults alive was 7 months although I estimate they can go up to 3 years from hatching to death.

It is likely Scolopocryptops spinicaudus.

It's a millipede, can't recall which one exactly, but is an invader via plant nurseries.

It is indeed Scolopendra heros, largest US species. Typical coloration for that area but looks like it's about to molt!
