Let’s get outside this summer! It’s time to explore the natural environments we find ourselves in; our yards, the Rideau Canal, the Ottawa River, our parks, we will become more aware of the other organisms we live with, find beauty and deepen our appreciation of our local ecosystems. Objectives: To improve student observation skills. To encourage an appreciation of nature. To learn to identify common local species. To become familiar with Project Noah tools. To develope skills of invetigation and communication. To relate science to technolgy, society, and the environment. Materials: digital cameras mobile device equipped with the Project Noah app notebooks or clipboards computers with access to www.projectnoah.org field guides (optional)
