This mission’s creator said “Our Southern Africa community is quite small on PN. Let's create a field guide to all the natural wonders that we experience daily.” I would like to pursue her guidelines, and invite residents of southern African countries, and travellers to do that, and let’s showcase the southern African wildlife wonders in this Mission. The mission therefore would like to receive spottings of native flora and fauna, spotted on the soil of these countries.
Please do not post pictures of domestic animals, pets, captive animals, ornamental plants in gardens, or south African animals spotted on farms or zoos elsewhere.
Introduced invasive species accepted, provided they are not in artificial environment.
The mission does not exclude spottings from urban areas, on the contrary – we welcome them, provided their appearances are spontaneous.
The mission was created by Wendy Clapham, who agreed to transfer the admin role to me for a time being.
