Baton Rouge Biodiversity

Snap photos of organisms from any taxonomic Kingdom throughout the school year. By recording your observations through photography, instead of specimen collections, it is easier and less disruptive to the organisms. Try to identify the organism using Project Noah or other identification resources. Also, revisit your observation sites to collect more photos of the organism throughout the seasons. For example, if you "collect" a red maple tree, add photos to your "Spotting" as the seasons change and the tree changes. Likewise, if you catalogue a caterpillar, show the metamorphic changes throughout its life stages.
