Psocodea (Psocoptera) are tiny creatures known as barklice, barkflies and booklice. Their diet varies according to the individual's taxonomy status, but includes lichens, mosses, algae, fungi, plant spores, insect material, dead plants, trees, vegetation, wallpaper glue, grains, trees, organic debris, human food supplies, book bindings and more. The objective of this mission is to raise awareness surrounding these often forgotten and discriminated creatures and to map their distribution worldwide. Try to provide a very approximate or exact location. Posts calling the insect "pests" or implying harm towards them will NOT be allowed! This mission's objective is meant to be ecologically friendly, to map the distribution of Psocodea worldwide and to help them, not harm them. Individuals already found dead can be posted, but it must be specified in the description. Members can try to identify unknown spottings. This mission is not limited to the radius shown and Psocodea from all over the world are allowed.
