Horfield Common Wildlife Survey
This mission aims to document all local wildlife on Horfield Common, and is a wonderful way in which visitors to, and users of the common can contribute to learning about the wildlife in this charming, extensive and historic public space. Please record all species that you see on Horfield Common, Bristol - this mission is geographic, rather than species specific.
For a map of the whole Horfield Common area - please visit www.friendsofhorfieldcommon.com where you can view a map which clearly shows the boundaries of the common, an extensive green space in North Bristol which stretches accross the boundaries of Horfield, Henleaze and Bishopston.

Join Friends of Horfield Common in our mission to document the incredible range of wildlife that we share this wonderful green and open space with! Help us to record Horfield Common's wildlife as it changes throughout the year.
Friends of Horfield Common's Wildlife and Biodiversity group are working hard - with a wide range of partners - to increase wildlife and biodiversity in the area, and to ensure that this extensive urban green space is healthy, nurturing and welcoming for all species.
From our starting point in 2014, we plan to monitor and record Horfield Common's wildlife initially over a 5 year period to build up a clear picture of the species and inhabitants we share the common with and to support our work and encourage access to environmental and wildlife learning opportunities for local people.
