The aim of this mission is to observe and record the biodiversity of fauna in Crete (terrestrial, freshwater and marine species), including endemic and naturalised species. Spottings can include any (non-plant) species, e.g. mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, insects, arthropods, molluscs, etc. I hope the information gathered can be used towards conservation of the Cretan biodiversity, habitats and ecology.
