Notes:

Dense mats of chickweed are bolting right now, putting their energy into flowering. These plants in the picture grow on the north side of my raised garden bed, so they have been sheltered from the heat of the warm spring sun we have been experiencing this year and still have lush leaf growth right now, even as they flower.
