Mockingbirds are smart and they probably moved out. The black phoebes sometimes show a very weak fluttering flight and it would be so easy to swipe them off! They seem naive too.

Emma, since a pair of Red-shoulders started nesting a block from my house, my friends the mockingbirds have all vanished. Eaten? or just moved out of the neighborhood?

Thanks Ava. What is disturbing though is that I find these a lot around the Black Phoebes.i fear for them.
