Patterned Gar Fish

Description:

I see a lot of these. Beautiful fish. Average size about 30 inches. Called the "Patterned Gar" according to the park rangers I've spoken with. I dont know its scientific name. Almosts never moves, just hovers and waits for its prey, usually small fish.
