Scorpion

Habitat:

He was on the porch today. This is the second we have found on our property. The 1st we found on our kitchen floor. Is this normal for Missouri?

These are fairly common here in Oklahoma, but they don't pose a problem for humans unless you have an allergic reaction to the venom. Most people have some light pain and swelling, and pets are generally unaffected by stings. Since you've seen 2 now, it would probably be best to shake out your shoes before putting them on, just to be sure they're empty.
