Pseudoplexaura porosa
Photo take at -30 ft in a Caribbean reef. Light yellow, brownish or reddish-purple. Long branches, usually bushy rather than in one plane, colonies may reach nearly 2 m tall but most will be considerably less. Calices of this genus are flush with the surface of the branches. The calices of this species are densely packed, such that the gaps between them are less than their diameters, and polyps appear crowded and overlapping.
Found from Florida all the Caribbean sea to Colombia.
