Description:

Upright or somewhat sprawling perennial to 4 ft. though usually shorter. Stems one to several from base, usually much-branched at top. Flower head to 2 1/2 in. high. Solid yellow, solid reddish brown, or velvety reddish brown with yellow tip, drooping. Elongated cone. Deeply divided leaves.

Habitat:

Part shade to sun. Almost all soils and habitats.
