Opuntia
As the opuntia is very resistant it may be found in many different places were weeds are spread around, either in the cities, seaside or the countryside. In this particular case the opuntia´s flowers had bloomed making the strong and rough plant sort of somehow delicate. I added pictures of opuntia some months later, in a different stage, this time with fruits on them.
The second, third and fourth picture show the same plant but in a different stage, one month later (in May), when cold weather has started, and in a different place, in Colonia, Uruguay.
I thought it was interesting to include pictures of the same plant but in different stages. =)

Thank you Dandoucette for you comment; yes I think they are all opuntias too, at the place I was pretty sure; maybe the thorns can´t be seen because of the picture´s perspective and light; I made a point on including them in the picture in the first and second but in these two I wanted a broader perspective of the plant.
Hey Patty, I can't help you on the species but they all look like Opuntias to me. I've never seen one like the last 2 without thorns, interesting.
Maybe the third and fourth are not opuntias...I have to check that; suggestions are welcomed too =)
I added some pictures of the same plant, but in a different stage, and in a different place; I thought it could be relevant; someone had asked about doing kind of this - sort of a list or something regarding the same type of plant - today.
