Lacewing Larva

Chrysopa sps

Description:

Tiny. Seems too colorful for Antlion, but otherwise it looks pretty similar. Found it crawling on my office wall.

This is one my favorite things about Project Noah - I learn something new every day! This looks so much like the ladybug larva I spotted yesterday that I went back & double checked my ID! Thanks for the learning opportunity Liam!

You're welcome. I had one in my garden last year.

I considered ladybug larva, Karen, but it has three sets of legs and pincers. I don't usually see pincers on lady bug larvae.
Emma, I used my D70 with my Sigma AF 70-300mm Macro for the second and my Canon SX20 for the first.
