Dwarf Palmetto

Sabal minor

Description:

The size is precise as it is in the picture. The color is a bright green and it is fan-shaped. The texture of the leaves is soft and smooth. However, the edges of the leaves are pointy.

Habitat:

It is a native species in Florida. The environment of this plant is that it grows in moist soil and is common to find it in Floridians' backyards. It is found near lakes and ponds. Nearby, there was Spanish Moss. The temperature was very hot and humid. There was a lake nearby the Palmetto. There was a little bit of sunlight since I found it was shaded by a tree.

Notes:

Anjali S. There was an oak tree nearby. There were 3 of these trees and 2 Dwarf Palmettos. Updated by Anjali S.
