Six-spotted Tiger Beetle

Description:

Metallic green to bronze in color, easily identified due it's characteristic metallic color and it's shape. Relatively slender for a beetle with strong observable jaws which are said to have a painful bite if handle.

Habitat:

Found onbeaches and dry soil

Notes:

Sun loving and will bite if handled.
