Unidentified Beetle

Description:

These beetles (I think that's what they are) are only in one corner of our yard. Some are red and some are more black. In the fifth picture, you can see that the spiders have laid their eggs here to find good meals nearby.

These look like nymphs (and possibly one adult in the first image) of the red-shouldered bug. This species is a true bug and not a beetle. Anyway, this is my best guess based on what I can see in the photos.
