I felt really sad when I found this dead Blue Banded Bee in the kitchen last week. There have been some amazing spottings recently of this beautiful creature, I actually added my own spotting last year of one in my garden, but the first one I ever found was also dead in the house. I've added it as it's not always possible to see the beauty of the insects when they are busy collecting pollen in the garden.

It is sad, but this this series does give us an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of this species up close. Nice work!
