Green predator assassin bug

Description:

Green and brown assassin bug--the first I ever spotted in my yard (now I see them everywhere!).

Habitat:

I found it crawling on my mailbox while I was planting flowers, and it flew into the grass before I could photograph it. Luckily it changed its mind and came back to crawl on the dianthus for a while.
