Habitat:

Shallow waters near shore. Rocks and boulder bottom.

Notes:

Visiting friends. Having never snorkeled here and used to Caribbean waters these were the biggest blennies I've ever seen! Oh yes, and the water temp was quite chilly, though it was extremely hot out. I would say they were quite common as I saw them on different beaches of the island while snorkeling.
