Description:

4-5 ft shrub with small, evergreen leaves in mild winter areas. Flowers are lavender pink, nearly bell shaped, appearing intermittently spring through fall, often following a rain.

Habitat:

Drought tolerant. Common on limestone soil.

Notes:

Attract many butterflies and bees. Host plant to Theo a checkerspot butterfly.
