Mule Deer

Odocoileus hemionus

This small group of mule deer was in-between switch-backs going up the mountain...casually watching hundreds of bikers (and cars and motorcycles) pass them by. They are just starting to lose their winter coats and it makes them look very shaggy...but cute! They were very cooperative! ;-)
