Description:

An unevenly shaped shrub or small spreading tree. Leaves are simple, opposite, deciduous, oval, with long pointed tip and rough upper leaf surface. Flowers are a white, rounded cluster. Thickets.

Habitat:

Moist soils along creeks and in bottomlands.

Notes:

Good wildlife plant.
