Definitely a downy - the hairy has a much longer bill, & the ladderback lacks the white on its back!
Good capture! I like catching them upside down looking for food. have some on my page.
Looks like a Downy Woodpecker - we get them down in Texas, too. Yours could be a juvenile - but very likely female as it lacks the red patch on the head.
