It is probably not Erycinia. I was a complete fool to think about "plant thing", however, look at the connection between branch and cocoon: Just amazing!!
Karla: Take care of this cocoon and show us what is coming out of it!!!

That's the reason I want to know about the size. I don't think it is a chrysalis, I even do not think it is something from an animal??? Look at #1, isn't it directly attached/connected with the little branch?? Maybe some plant "capsule"/"bag"??
